Peggy has always loved working in pastels ever since taking some college classes many years ago. After retiring from a rewarding teaching career she found she had the time to pursue her art once again. After taking classes with local pastel artist Virginia Sosik and workshops at Woodstock School of Art and the Pastel Society of America in New York, she continues to try to share the beauty she sees in nature through her paintings. She focuses mainly on nature and landscapes. She has shown her work in collaborative exhibitions at the Lackawanna College Environmental Institute, AFA Gallery: Scranton PA, Glenburn Township Art Show and Scranton's Voluntary Action Center's and St. Joseph's Center's Silent Auctions.
