Have you been wondering how you might contribute to CPPS? Are you looking for avenues to participate in a deeper, more meaningful way? If so, please consider the following opportunities and let Virginia (vcb2@psu.edu) know of your interest:
Available now: VICE-PRESIDENT
The Vice-President:
Presides at meetings and assumes other duties as necessary when the president is absent and unable to fulfill his/her responsibilities.
Assists in coordinating and publicizing the Pastel Society’s activities and exhibits.
Rhoneymeade Arboretum: They have received approval for the artist's pass which will provide you with greater access to the grounds. To sign up you will need to contact James Lesher directly (jameslesher53@gmail.com). He will need your contact information should they have to close on a particular day for some unanticipated reason.
Chebela Grab, owner of 321 Gallery in Hollidaysburg is interested in having our members show individual artwork in her gallery. Members should contact her or her son, Pete, directly to get more information on showing their artwork. (The possibility of a CPPS group show in 2017 is also being discussed with the Exhibition Committee. Thank you, Debbie Decker, for making this contact for us.)
