The closest prepared food would be at the Sheetz along route 45 in Centre Hall or the Brother's Pizza in Centre Hall. Boalsburg offers a few options: Pump Café, McDonald’s, Honey Baked Ham, Little Caesar’s, and Subway along South Atherton.
How do I decide which pastels to bring for a painting workshop? How do I limit my palette, so I’m not carrying too many colors? Check out photos of your destination. This will give you a better idea of the colors that are there. It’s important to have a wide enough range of values to allow you to paint just about anything but with colors tailored to the colors in the specific landscape, as well as their compliments. What books on painting with pastels would you recommend?

If I work in oil, can I benefit from taking this workshop? However, the workshop instructor would be willing to assist the oil painter in learning brushwork techniques, provided she knows beforehand.
