Susan McCartney and Anne Kenyon are hosting a Docent tour entitled, "Pastels and More", Dec 4 from 2-3pm at the Palmer Museum. For those who missed the Paper View event in March, this is another opportunity to see some of the Palmer's pastels. In addition, six drawing works are also included in this event. Susan will briefly talk about the drawings and Anne will talk about the pastels. This is an opportunity to see works that rarely go on display. Drawings on display include works by Henry Pearson, Kate Flourney Edwards, Anne Allayer-Coster and Frederic Gruger. Pastels include "Portrait of David O. Wilson" and works by Daniel Massad, William Morris Hunt, Bill Jacklin, Alan Gussow and Anne Philbin. Please meet in the lobby by 2pm December 4; the event will be held in the print room on the the second floor.
