Saturday, February 9th, The Pastel Society joined together with invited guests, the Farmland Preservation Artists of Central PA for their annual Winter Paint-In, held at the Harris Township Community Center in Boalsburg. It was a special day, where we we met new members and built new friendships. The energy was positive but very relaxing, giving opportunity to support each other with laughter and community of the common creative interests. We all had a chance to do and talk about what we love best, art and pastels! The consensus was, "We can't wait for the next one" to be announced!
Many of the Farmland Artists are also members of CPPS. This was a relaxed gathering for us all to work on our own ideas and share a potluck lunch. No teaching or pressure, just fun times painting together.
