Earthberry Pastels

CPPS has been working with the pastel company, Earthberry. The company sent two boxes to CPPS President, Susan Nicholas Gephart, who shared the pastels at a CPPS paint-in. The pastels were a hit, and one member ordered a box right away. Here's what that member, Eileen Rivoir, had to say about her experience with Earthberry:

This morning (8/29), the mailman rang my doorbell, and asked me to sign for a package, because "it came from the motherland?!" Sure enough, this battered and beaten brown box's info was primarily in Cyrillic alphabet, which momentarily concerned me, until I recalled a similarly vexing email I had received a few weeks ago. It was my Earthberry pastels!

After trying Susan's samples that she shared with us at the last CPPS meeting, I splurged and ordered the 30 piece Valerie McKeehan's Meadow set. I ordered on 8/12, it was shipped on 8/16, but with a warning that it could take up to 30 days to arrive, due to international shipping issues. Yesterday, with the news full of new international shipping woes, I feared I would never see these luscious sticks.

I wish you could experience the ecstasy of these gorgeous sticks when I finally got through their secure but beaten nest of cardboard, bubble wrap, brown paper shreds, tidy cardboard box and finally coconut-fiber. You know how I fell in love with pastels because their tactile aesthetics spoke to my soul? Well, I swooned just looking at these.
